I did not know any of these things when I was in the area and actually skipped Phuket pretty sharpish. If only I had read this beforehand.

I think it was the plentiful beaches and hidden coves. The initial impression that Phuket gives out is that it’s very crowded and touristy. But, as in every place, all you have to do is hop on a motorbike and explore! We stayed in quieter places and loved it!

It is quite touristy, but as in every place, there are hidden spots and gems that are worth going to.
