I absolutely loved the Songkran festival! Funny enough, my husband and I unknowingly scheduled a hotel transfer during that day during our honeymoon in Thailand. That cab ride from one hotel to the next in the open truck bed was HYSTERICAL to say the least. I actually wrote about it just this week on my blog as well. Great minds think alike!

I haven’t attended many festivals in Thailand but Songkran and Lantern festivals are high on my list. Have seen Loi Krathong though, which is similar to our own festival.

I’ve always wanted to join in on Songkran after seeing the joyful photos my friends and travel bloggers have posted of the festival! I’d never heard of Loy Krathong, though. It’s been 6 years since I was in Thailand, and methinks it’s time to go back!
