All of these places are so interesting! Would love to see the glowing plankton and the archaeological park. It is good that there are more and more sanctuaries and parks for elephants in Thailand.

As much as people may say its delicious, I don’t think I could bring myself to try eating insects that huge! Although Fish Amok sounds yummy, that I would eat 🙂

I loved Cambodia when I was there. I spent time mainly exploring every nook and cranny of the Angkor Archaelogical Park. I couldn’t get over how stunning and mysterious the Temples deep within the the jungle were. Yes, yes and yes to Angkor sunrise, Khmer cuisine, and Pub street! Make sure to visit the night market, too.

I found Cambodia an highly emotional place with the Killing Fields and S21 particularly moving. Pub Street, on the other hand, is a true bag of fun!

Cambodia is on my “need to get there soon” travel list. Thanks so much for all your great must do suggestions and tips. Especially the tip about seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the tuk tuk pre-booking is a gem of an idea.
